Peter Irving - Wear Valley Representative

I continue to represent the Link at various meeting across the dales and county.

I have raised and talked to people on LINk issues, at various meetings of the County Council, Area Action Partnership’s, Primary Care Trust, Integrated Care Organisation and Tees Esk and Wear Valley.  I continue to champion issues and supporting the service user. This particularly applies around Rural Issues and Mental Health.  I am chairman of Voice for All a mental health group for the Dales and go to other countywide events to network with other groups.  Part of this work is talking with Commissioners and Trusts over service delivery and involvement.  I regularly attend the Local Involvement Group and the Local Implementation Team in relationship to this work.  I represent the Hill Top Villages at the Three Towns AAP and active on the Health Group there.  I am also Chairman of Billy Row Community Association and the Hill Top Villages.  I also have strong connections with the Voluntary sector and at present the Treasurer for 2D who I have been associated with for quite a number of years.  I attend local meeting of Link for members and I am always available for members to raise issues with me.  I feel strongly about health Issues and representing people in an independent non-political way.
