Authorised representatives of the LINk will be able to enter and view care services provided by:
Visits are co-ordinated with service providers and are carried out as part of a constructive relationship between LINks and orgnisations commissioning / and or providing health and social care services. The ethos is not to seek out faults with local services, but to see how the standards and provision of care services can be improved.
LINk members were asked if they would like to apply for this role in December 2008 and those representatives who were successful at the interview stage, have since then, been undergoing an intensive training programme, to which their commitment and dedication has been outstanding.
